Entry for the 2020 Awards is now open
We’re looking for projects that show technical and horticultural excellence. You need to demonstrate disciplined construction methods with a quality finish whilst giving value for money. Show us how you’ve used your imagination to overcome any construction or site issues and where you’ve gone the extra mile to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Awards will go to the entries which show attention to detail, technical excellence and an overall level of quality.
You can read our competition brochure for detail on the categories and a handy checklist for preparing you entry.
Entry for our 2020 Awards is now available for entries until 17th May 2019. The cost per entry is £65.00 + VAT. It's easy to enter using our online form below.
To enter complete the below form as fully as possible, we recommend saving your entry in a word document and if you wish to enter the project in a specialist and value category then you can simply copy and paste the text in rather than starting from scratch.
Complete your entry by 17 May 2019 and your entry fee will be processed once we receive your entry. (if you need more time to submit images just let us know and we will be as flexible as we can.)
New to the 2020 Awards
Usually overlooked, The APL are looking for projects which show horticultural excellence in the successful maintenance and up keep of domestic or residential community spaces. You must be able to submit effective schedules or maintenance programmes, evidence of environmental sustainability, proof of suitable horticultural experience or qualifications and on visit of the site, evidence of sound horticultural practice and overall quality of work.
Roof Gardens and Balconies
An increasingly popular landscaping project that contains its own challenges. We’re looking for projects that display fantastic use of space on roofs or balcony areas. You will need to provide accurate scopes of work and logistical details required to complete the project. We will be looking at how the space has been transformed and unique/inspirational use of products. We will also be keen to see horticultural excellence and what planting has been used to help transform these magnificent city vistas.
